Another update on COVID-19: Pausing all classes & sessions

Hello All,  As our worldwide situation continues to develop, for the safety of each one of you, all those in our community, and each precious human life beyond our immediate circles, I will be pausing all in person classes and sessions until further notice.   I plan to hold Sunday's Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement Class online, at our usual time, 11 am MT. I know you are likely receiving an abundance of emails regarding COVID-19 updates at this time.  As such, in order to keep communication succinct and relevant, please hit reply to this email with a quick "yes" in the subject line if you'd like to continue to receive information about online and remote access to classes and virtual private sessions during this time.  *Note: if you are a current regular class member, or currently enrolled in private sessions, I will add you to this list unless I hear otherwise.   Likewise, if you know of someone in your immediate or far reaching circles who is self-isolating and looking for ways to de-stress, connect to themselves and their wellbeing, and maintain or cultivate a movement practice during this time, please consider sharing this resource with them.   Lastly, there is so much information circulating out there.  I do not want to overload, but share with you a just a few links that have felt relevant and important:

  • Interesting, intense, and informative article at this time:  Coronavirus: Why You Must Act Now

  • As everyone is spending more time indoors at home, I thought this might be a relevant resource for you.  Last year, after an enormous amount of research for the best Air Purifier to address issues of mold and VOCs in the home, I discovered this company:  Hypoallergenic Air.  I've had their G3 Series Purifier running in my home 24/7, with outstanding results.  A few weeks ago, the company sent out an email confirming that their purifiers kill all viruses, including Coronavirus strains.

  • And, finally, amidst the difficult and troublesome times, I found these words from Kitty O'Meara bright and thought provoking:  "And the people stayed home.  And read books, and listened, and rested, and exercised, and made art, and played games, and learned new ways of being, and were still.  And listened more deeply.  Some meditated, some prayed, some danced.  Some met their shadows.  And the people began to think differently.   And the people healed.  And, in the absence of people living in ignorant, dangerous, mindless and heartless ways, the earth began to heal.  And when the danger passed, the people joined together again, they grieved their losses, and made new choices, and dreamed new images, and created new ways to live and heal the earth fully, as they had been healed."  - Kitty O'Meara

Be well, each of you,
